Navigating Marginalized Community Members
to Sustainable Resources
Our Purpose
At The Healing Project, we know that access to housing, food, transportation, education, and mental health support is critical for marginalized communities. When these basic needs are met, people have a real chance to stabilize, move forward, and access resources without barriers.
Through this work, we support individuals and families across Travis County and surrounding areas as they move toward sustainability, independence, and long-term stability. Our goal is simple: to help people heal, build self-sufficiency, and step into their power as leaders in their communities across Central Texas.

Healing Hunger
Through our community partners, we provide free, nutritious groceries to families in need. This program helps eliminate barriers to food access across Austin, TX and surrounding counties, offering support with dignity and compassion.
Healing on Wheels
Healing on Wheels brings essential resources directly to community members. Healing on Wheels ensures that families with the greatest barriers still receive consistent, dependable support and care from The Healing Project.
Healing in the Neighborhood
Our Generational Health program promotes healing in the Neighborhood by supporting whole-family wellness—mind, body, and spirit. We offer movement-based activities like meditation, yoga, sound baths, breathwork, and grounding practices for marginalized communities across Central Texas.

AMPLIFY AUSTIN DAY
We’re launching the Healing Project Free Grocery Store because our community needs it—and they told us so.
After collecting 100+ surveys, families across Austin shared how hard it’s become to afford food. Through our programs, people are already saving up to $700 a month in grocery value—money they can use for rent, utilities, and basic survival.
We serve unhoused and marginalized community members, and we see every day how hard food access can be without stable housing, transportation, or income.
With partners like H-E-B, Costco, and Central Texas Food Bank, we’re ready to scale this work and create a consistent, dignified place for people to get what they need.
Thank you to our community and to Amplify Austin for this platform.
Because of your generosity, we’re able to keep serving unhoused and marginalized community members with food and basic needs that truly make a difference.
Your support turns into real impact—families eating, stress easing, and people getting through hard times with dignity.
We’re grateful for every donation, every share, and every person who believes in this work. Thank you for standing with The Healing Project.
